What types of videos and pictures can I get transferred into a digital format?

All types of consumer home movie films, videotapes, photo prints, negatives and slides can be transferred and saved to a modern digital format.

Can I transfer VHS to a USB?

At this time, you can transfer only home movie films and videotapes to DVD. Photo prints, negatives and slides can be transferred to USB.

Why should I transfer my videos to a digital format?

Transferring your videos to a digital format can help preserve them for the future, ensuring you'll be able to enjoy them for many years to come.

What is the transfer process? (I.E. what do I need to do?)

When transferring your videos and pictures, you don't need to worry about anything. We'll take care of the whole process. All videos and pictures will be returned to you once we're done.

What formats of older analog memories does Walgreens accept?

The following formats are accepted:

  • Videotapes: VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, 8mm, Hi8, Video8, Digital8, MiniDV, MicroMini
  • Movie Films: 8mm, Super 8, 16mm
  • Photos: Photo prints, slides, negatives
