Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I create my custom face mask?

A. Just choose from various pre-made designs, then make it your own by adding text or embellishments.

Q. What materials are used in these masks?

A. The masks are 2-ply. The inner lining is 100% cotton and the outer shell is 100% polyester.

Q. Are the masks washable and reusable?

A. Definitely! Just remember to remove the filter before washing, then machine wash warm with like colors. Hang drying is ideal but tumble-drying on low heat works too. (See additional washing guidelines below.)

Q. Do the masks include filters?

A. Masks have a filter pocket and come with a starter 2-pack of carbon-filter inserts, made from meltblown fabric. Activated carbon enhances the filtering effect. Filters are easy to use; just insert into the mask's pocket.

Q. Can the filter be washed?

A. Do not wash the filter; instead, replace after 2-3 days for all-day use, 4-5 days of periodic use, or if they are accidentally washed or become damaged. These masks use standard PM2.5 filters.

Q. Why should I wear a face mask?

A. Wearing a mask helps to slow the spread of COVID-19 and makes social distancing easier. Check out the CDC.gov recommendations and important information about cloth face coverings.
