Ordering Prints: Overview
You can order professionally developed prints of any photos in your Walgreens photo center account for pickup at a Walgreens location or mail delivery straight to you or any friend in the U.S. You can order 4x6, 5x7, or 8x10, and uncut sheets of 4 wallet-size (2x3) prints.

For store pickup orders, prints are available with a glossy finish.

For mail orders, prints are available with a glossy or matte finish.There is no additional charge for either finish.

You'll find the Order prints link in the upper right of the photo library, album view, or photo view pages.

As you add prints to your order, this information is saved in your photo cart. A summary of your cart contents appears in the area labeled Photo cart.

Note: You can change your order at any point before you click on the SUBMIT ORDER button during check out. You will not be charged until you click on SUBMIT ORDER.

Ordering Prints from your Photo Library

Ordering Prints from Photo View

If you are viewing an individual photo, you can add prints to your cart without leaving the page. Your order information will be saved in your cart until you're ready to check out.

Here's how to add prints to your order from an individual photo view:

  1. From an individual photo page, click Order a print, the top item in the Get Started! menu at the top right of the page.
  2. At the top of your photo, you'll see a message like 'this photo is in your shopping cart!'. This indicates that we have added a print of this photo to your cart.

    Note: This is for on-screen display only. It does not alter the digital file or the resulting print.

  3. The cart summary will update automatically with the contents of your cart.
  4. Continue to use the Walgreens photo center site until you're ready to check out.
  5. When you're ready to check out, use the Photo Cart link at the top of the page.
  6. You'll be taken to your Cart. It will show every photo that you have selected for prints, with a single 4x6" print pre-selected. You can order any quantity of any size print by changing the quantity numbers in the fields provided.

Note: You can change your order at any point before you click on the SUBMIT ORDER button during check out. You will not be charged until you click on SUBMIT ORDER.

Order Prints from a Group Room
  1. Begin in your photo library. (Click the Photos tab at the top of most pages to get there.)
  2. From your photo library, click Group Rooms in the toolbar on the left side of the page.
  3. Below Group Rooms, you'll see a list of the group rooms to which you belong. Click on the one that contains the photos you'd like to order prints of.
  4. You will be taken to the homepage of the group room. From there, click Order Prints in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
  5. On the following page, click on the album that contains the photos you want prints of, and click OPEN THIS ALBUM.
  6. Click on each photo you'd like to order. To select the entire album, click on the Select All link.
  7. Then click on CHOOSE THESE PHOTOS.
  8. Single 4x6 prints will be pre-selected in your cart, but you can easily adjust the size and quantity of the prints in your order.

Your Cart
Your cart holds your orders for prints, poster prints, photo stationery, and photo gifts. Any merchandise you add to your cart is saved there until you check out or remove the items from your cart.

A thumbnail of each photo you've added to your cart will be displayed to the left of the quantity boxes. Type a number in the boxes to adjust the quantity of each size. After adjusting quantities, use the Update Total link to see your updated subtotal. If you'd like to remove a photo from your order, click on the Remove photo link under the photo. This will remove the photo from your print order (but not from your account).

You can crop and preview the prints in your cart by clicking the Photo Preview button next to the print image or the Preview Prints Order button in the Overall Print Options section . A pop-up will open with preview images of your print(s). To crop a print, click the "Crop" link beneath the print, and use the arrow cursor to crop. When you're done, click the Save Changes button to apply the crop and return to your cart.

You can also choose the print finish, size, quantity and photo extras that you'd like applied to all of the prints in your order.

There are three "quick order" drop-down menus at the top of the 'Prints' section of your cart. There is one menu for each size print: 4x6, 5x7 and 8x10. These menus allow you to quickly and easily order multiple quantities of a certain size for every photo in your print order.

When you click on one of the boxes, a drop down menu will appear, allowing you to choose a quantity for that size. For example, if you click on the '4x6' menu and choose quantity "4", every photo in your order will change to indicate that you're ordering 4, 4x6" prints. You can use this option for any print size in your cart by clicking on the appropriate link. To clear the quantities of a particular size, click on the print size menu and choose "0".

If you'd like to order prints of photos that aren't yet in your cart, click on the Add more photos link.

A yellow triangle next to a print size indicates that the photo is too small to make a high-quality print at the selected size.

Any credits that apply to this order are listed in green below the prints. The order total at the bottom of the page includes shipping and handling. Applicable sales tax will be added when you review and place your order.

If you have a coupon or gift certificate, you will enter it at the bottom of the cart page in the 'Coupon' section.

When the correct sizes and quantities of all the prints you want to order are displayed in your cart, click on the Update Total link to view your subtotal. Then select the CHECK OUT button to continue. Please note, you can change your order at any point before you select the SUBMIT ORDER button at the end of checkout. You will not be charged until you click on SUBMIT ORDER.

Clicking on the Empty cart link near the bottom of the page will remove all prints, photo gifts, and photo cards from your cart.

Checking Out
Pickup Orders
  1. After selecting your prints, you'll be asked whether you want to pick them up or have them shipped. If you request pickup, we'll ask you to choose a Walgreens for pickup. You can search for a location by ZIP code or by address. (If you've chosen to pick up prints before, we automatically display the last location you chose, but you can change to a different pickup location at any time.)
  2. Next you'll enter billing information. You can choose to pay for pickup orders online by credit card or in the store - unless your order total is more than $40, in which case we require you to enter a credit card number at the time you place your order. Your card will not be charged until you pick up your order.
  3. Finally, review the details of your order. If pickup location and time, your order details and all information are correct, you can place your order.
  4. You'll be taken to a page confirming your order that you can print for your records. Be sure to copy your order number, because you will need to bring it to the store when you pick up your order. You will also receive an email when your order is ready for pickup.
Mail Orders
If you have ordered photo gifts, stationery, calendars or posters, or if you would like to have your photo order mailed to you rather than picking it up at a local Walgreens, please follow these steps.
  1. Select Ship my prints when prompted to select pickup or mail, and then click CONTINUE. If you've selected to have your order shipped before, we will automatically pull in your address. You'll also select a shipping option (standard, two-day, or overnight). Note: we can ship to any address in the U.S.
  2. Next you'll enter your credit card information and your billing address. If we already have your address and billing info (from a previous order), it will be displayed on this page. When all of the information on this page is complete and accurate, click on the CONTINUE button to review your order before placing it.
  3. Finally, review the details of your order. If your order details and all information are correct, you can place your order.
  4. You'll be taken to a page confirming your order that you can print for your records. You will also receive a confirmation email .
Store Pickup and Mail Combination Orders
Even if you have selected items for pickup and items that will be mailed to you, your cart will display all items together. A credit card is required to place these joint orders, but you will not be charged for the items you are picking up until you visit the store.

State and Local Tax
When you place an order for pickup, the tax listed is an estimate based on your state's tax. Because tax might change before time of pickup, the amount is not final until you pay at the store.

Send Order to a Friend: Show me how this works
Now you can order prints for a friend to pick up at their local Walgreens. Simply enter your billing information to pay for the order, and your friend's contact information so that we can let them know when their prints are ready.
How to order for a friend
  1. Select the prints you want to order and add them to your shopping cart.
  2. On the Pick up prints or have them shipped page, select Order for a friend.
  3. On the Select pickup location page, select the Walgreens location where your friend (the recipient) will pick up the prints. Select CONTINUE.
  4. Select a pickup time. Select CONTINUE.
  5. On the Billing Information page, enter the recipient's information: first name, last name, phone number and e-mail address (e-mail address is optional). We will only use this information to notify your friend when the order is ready. View our Privacy Policy.
  6. Enter your billing information.* Select CONTINUE.
  7. On the Review and submit your order page, make sure the store, your contact information and your friend's contact information are correct. Select SUBMIT ORDER.
  8. Print and save the order confirmation page for your records.
  9. You may then place another order for the same prints, for yourself or another friend. You may make changes to the new order when it is in your cart. Or you may return to your My Photos page.
About your friend's order
We will send an e-mail message to you when your order has been received for processing. We will also send e-mail messages both to you and the recipient when the order is ready for pickup.

Billing
You can choose to pay for pickup orders online by credit card or in the store - unless your order total is more than $40, in which case we require you to enter a credit card number at the time you place your order. Your card will not be charged until you pick up your order.

For mail orders, we will charge your credit card at the time you submit your order. Other items go on credit card when CC information is placed online. We ship and bill prints separately. When we charge your card, we'll send you an email message. This is your receipt and includes all of your order and payment info. For more information, see payment and credit cards.

Timing
Pickup orders are ready in as soon as one hour from the time the order is placed.

Most mail orders for prints and photo stationery are processed on the same day they're placed. Photo gift orders are typically processed within 3 days of when they were submitted. We ship all print orders via First Class mail (U.S. Postal Service). You should receive your prints within 5-7 business days. We'll send you an email message when we ship your order.

Common Questions About Ordering Prints
How do I return/get a refund for a print order?
For returns on photo prints picked up at your local Walgreens, please visit the store. For returns on photo prints received by mail, please contact Customer Service by emailing service@photo.walgreens.com or call our toll-free number: 866-264-2910.

Are my prints going to look like the picture on my computer?
Actually, they'll look better. When we print your photos, we use the high-resolution scans of your photos that are stored with your account. As a result, your printed photos should appear cleaner and more colorful than what you see on your monitor. We'll display a warning for any photo that may not produce a good quality print, and you can click the Print Preview link under each photo in your cart to see how it will appear when printed in different sizes.

What does the yellow triangle mean?
In your cart you may notice a yellow triangle next to one or more of the photo sizes (4x6, 5x7, 8x10, wallets, Family Pack, Ultimate Value Pack). This is a warning that print quality at that size may not be as good. To avoid ordering a low quality print, we recommend that you do not order a print size when a yellow triangle appears next to it.

What resolution do I need for good quality reprints of my digital photos?
If you'd like to order a print of a digital photo you uploaded to Walgreens photo center, you'll get excellent results as long as you follow this simple guideline: high quality digital prints start with high quality digital images. This means that the digital photo files you upload must be of a minimum pixel size to produce the best print. Please refer to this chart to determine the minimum image size you need to produce quality prints:

If your photo doesn't meet these minimum image-size requirements, you'll see a yellow triangle next to one or more print sizes in your cart. To avoid receiving a low-quality print, we recommend against ordering sizes marked with a yellow triangle.
